Our Worship Services celebrate an amazing God and the life we have in God through Jesus Christ. Any of us can worship God anywhere at anytime but what a joy to combine our voices and spirits on a weekly basis! We are encouraged by being in the presence of God together. In our worship services we share this in common: our hearts and voices acknowledge that God is God and we are not; and yet, through the love of God shown on the cross and then an empty tomb, we are brought into a deep relationship with God and each other.
Our worship includes uplifting music, Bible readings, prayer, baptisms, communion and more. We worship in two different styles: traditional, with some traditional Lutheran hymns and worship practices; and “contemporary” — a more “pop” style, led by our Praise Band.
A staffed nursery is available during all worship services to care for children four and under.
At 8:45 a.m. on Sundays from mid-September through mid-May we celebrate Traditional Worship. In the summer months we offer one service at 9:15 a.m. (which is primarily Traditional and periodically Contemporary.)
Traditional hymns and liturgy, plus scripture, prayer and sermon provide a deep, meaningful experience of worship. Music during the service is lead by piano and sometimes choir.
At 10:30 a.m. Sundays starting in mid-September through mid-May we celebrate Contemporary Worship. During the summer months we offer one service at 9:15 a.m., which is primarily Traditional.
Contemporary Services at Saron are led by our Praise Band, using songs that proclaim God's goodness, power and love; and that uplift, inspire and encourage our hearts. Along with inspirational music, we pray together and hear God's word, and celebrate communion and baptisms.
